Barista -El Camino Baking Company - Part Time

El Camino Baking Company is an artisan cafe and bakery dedicated to high-quality coffee, fresh pastries, and exceptional customer service.  We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and self-motivated part-time Barista to join our team.  Schedule requirements are Wednesday & Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm, and Saturday & Sunday, 7:30am-3:00pm. Hourly base wage is $15.00/hour plus tips. Employees that work 32-hours a week or more also qualify for benefits, holiday pay and time off.  

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare Espresso and coffee beverages with consistency and attention to quality.
• Provide Friendly, efficient customer service at the counter.
• Assist with retail pastry and food service, including preparation, presentation and packaging.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Support daily cafe operations as needed
• Participate in menu development, including seasonal drink ideas and cafe offerings.

Qualifications:

• Previous barista or cafe experience required
• strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
• Interest in coffee, food and contributing creative ideas to the menu
