Promotes sales by educating customers and explaining drink menu; answering questions.* Sets up cash register. Receives and Verifies cash till, counts operating cash and places in register. Logs off of register every time the cashier steps away.* Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as expresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino.* Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance.* Maintains required records, statistics, particularly those involved in cashiering such as register tapes. Adheres to Cash handling guidelines.* Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following sanitation and organization regulations.* Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries, hot food items, and muffins. Follow HACCP guidelines.* Attends in-service meetings and other required training and meetings as directed. Completes Taleo within allotted timeframe.* Reports defective equipment/supplies, cashiering problems and unusual conditions to supervisor.
