Role Objectives:

• These roles will be part of the Data Strategy team supporting Capital Markets and Securities teams and related broker-dealer and swap-dealer entities.
• Actively participate in the development of the data platform in close coordination with internal technology and data teams.
• Contribute to the establishment of a reference data system for securities and pricing data, with plans to expand into additional data domains.
• Follow internal development standards and contribute to the overall objectives of the Data Strategy team.
• Implement the strategic data platform on the organization's Azure Cloud Platform using the required solutions and technologies outlined below.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 10 years of relevant experience in software/data engineering.
• Strong experience as a Full Stack Python/PySpark Developer.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure Cloud.
• Experience implementing solutions using:
  • Azure Cloud Services
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Data Lake Gen2
  • Azure Databases
  • Azure Data Fabric
  • API Gateway Management
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Databricks
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Strong SQL skills with RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
• Experience developing APIs using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
• Familiarity with the DevOps lifecycle, including Git, Jenkins, and related tools.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong understanding of data engineering and software development practices.
• Ability to develop scalable and reliable data solutions using Python and PySpark.

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial instruments is a plus.
• Experience with different asset classes is a plus.
• Experience working with market data is a plus.
