Title: Azure Cloud & AI Administrator/Engineer

Location: Iselin NJ - prefer onsite but open for Remote

We are looking for a platform-oriented Azure Cloud & AI Administrator/Engineer who can:

• Stand up and operate Azure AI Foundry environments

• Manage Azure subscriptions, networking, security, RBAC, and governance

• Support Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Document Intelligence, and Copilot-related services

• Implement CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code

• Provide Azure operational support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and cost management

• Act as the day-to-day liaison between EA, Platform Engineering, Cyber Security, and development teams

Key Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure Administration

• Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, policies, tagging standards, and governance controls.

• Administer Azure networking including:

  • VNets

  • Private Endpoints

  • NSGs

  • Application Gateway

  • Azure Firewall

  • Load Balancers

  • API Management

• Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery configurations.

• Manage Azure storage, compute, web apps, containers, and serverless services.

Azure AI Foundry Administration

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure AI Foundry environments.

• Provision and manage:

  • Azure OpenAI

  • Azure AI Search

  • Azure Document Intelligence

  • Azure AI Content Safety

  • Azure AI Agent Services

• Configure AI projects, model deployments, quotas, access controls, networking restrictions, and service policies.

• Support onboarding of new AI solutions and AI engineering teams.

Security & Governance

• Implement Azure RBAC and Entra ID security models.

• Manage:

  • Managed Identities

  • Service Principals

  • Key Vault

  • Certificate Management

  • Secrets Management

• Enforce Azure AI guardrails and enterprise security requirements.

• Support security audits, TAC reviews, Cyber reviews, and governance initiatives.

Azure DevOps & CI/CD

• Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines.

• Support GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.

• Implement:

  • CI/CD pipelines

  • Infrastructure as Code

  • Release Management

  • Automated testing

  • Deployment automation

• Establish Dev/UAT/Prod deployment standards.

Infrastructure as Code

• Develop and maintain:

  • Bicep

• Automate provisioning of:

  • AI environments

  • Networking services

  • Security controls

  • Azure resources

Monitoring & Operational Support

• Administer and support:

  • Application Insights

  • Azure Monitor

  • Log Analytics

  • Service Health

• Troubleshoot:

  • Azure AI Foundry issues

  • API failures

  • Performance bottlenecks

  • Quota limits

  • Networking issues

  • Authentication failures

• Support developers during production incidents.

Cost & Capacity Management

• Manage Azure budgets and consumption reporting.

• Implement alerts and quota controls.

• Forecast Azure AI and cloud infrastructure costs.

• Recommend optimization opportunities.
