    We are seeking an experienced Executive Communications Manager to join our team to support CEO, SVP, and senior leadership communications efforts.

    In this role, you"ll be part of a select team of communication professionals dedicated to supporting AWS"s CEO and its most senior leaders. You"ll help develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that effectively connect AWS"s leadership with employees, customers, partners, and influential external audiences across earned and owned channels, including internal communications, social media, press engagements, and speaker events. You will work closely with senior leaders and team members to develop communications that align with individual executive communication styles while adhering to wider business priorities and best practices.

    This position is based in the U.S (Seattle, New York, Washington DC) and requires regular local and international travel.

    Key job responsibilities

    Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with AWS business priorities

    Provide strategic counsel to the CEO and senior leadership to help them prioritize their time and focus on key opportunities that will have the most impact on communicating AWS"s business strategy

    Collaborate with stakeholders to define key messages and narratives

    Create compelling executive content including speeches, presentations, and written materials that articulate AWS"s vision and strategy

    Design and manage integrated communications plans across earned, owned, and social channels

    Define and execute strategic engagement plans for key industry events, keynotes, and speaking opportunities

    Ensure consistency of executive voice and messaging across all internal and external communication channels

    Guide executives on message positioning and delivery for critical moments

    Provide real-time counsel and communication support during sensitive situations or crisis moments

    Navigate complex approval processes while maintaining message integrity

    Build and maintain relationships with policy teams, executive staff, and external partners

    Deliver strategic employee communications to support leadership visibility and engagement

    Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage

    Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights
