Position: Avionics Systems Software Engineer
Location: Melbourne, FLOnsite
Experience Level- 8 years to 10 years of GNSS experience
Role Summary:
We are looking for an Avionics Systems Software Engineer with experience in GNSS/GPS, navigation, PNT, and safety-critical avionics systems. The role involves system requirements, integration, verification & validation, and technical documentation.
Must Have
- Strong experience in GNSS/GPS, Navigation, PNT & Avionics Systems.
- Experience in system requirements development, management, and traceability.
- Hands-on experience in system integration, interface definition (ICD), and integration testing.
- Experience in system verification & validation, test procedures, and verification planning.
- Knowledge of ARP4754A and safety-critical systems.
- Experience with DO-160 environmental and qualification testing.
- Experience preparing requirements specifications, verification reports, and engineering/certification artifacts.
- Experience participating in SRR, ICD, Integration Readiness, and Verification Readiness Reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Aerospace, Computer, or Systems Engineering.
- 5 10+ years of relevant experience in avionics, GNSS, navigation, or aerospace systems engineering
