Avionics Supply Chain Program Manager

Location: Greater Los Angeles, CA or Seattle, WA

Travel: Up to 30%

Join a leading aerospace program supporting the development and production of cutting-edge avionics hardware for a next-generation launch vehicle. This role bridges engineering teams and critical suppliers to ensure complex electronic systems are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead avionics product development activities from New Product Introduction (NPI) through production and testing.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and external suppliers to drive hardware development, fabrication, qualification, and delivery.
• Manage supplier performance, technical risk identification, mitigation plans, and root cause corrective actions (RCCA).
• Coordinate Statements of Work (SOWs), specifications, supplier deliverables, and procurement activities.
• Drive project schedules, scope management, cost tracking, and product readiness across cross-functional teams.
• Support functional, acceptance, and qualification testing with internal and external partners.
• Serve as the primary interface between suppliers, engineering teams, and program leadership.
• Manage critical avionics commodities including sensors, batteries, electronic assemblies, and avionics boxes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in electronic product development, manufacturing, NPI, program management, and product testing.
• Experience with PCB assemblies, electronic enclosures, and supplier-managed manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, project scheduling tools, and data-driven decision making.
• U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee status required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace or spaceflight electronics development experience.
• Knowledge of IPC standards, circuit card assembly, harness design, and Class 2/Class 3 electronics requirements.
• Experience with P6 Primavera, DOORS/DNG, Altium, OrCAD, Creo, and Windchill.
• Background supporting products through the full lifecycle from development through production.
