Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for an Automotive Fuel Economy / Emissions Certification Engineer – Vehicle Homologation & Compliance for their Allen Park, MI location. Perform emission certification testing: Coordinating vehicle updates, reflashes and/or troubleshooting as required.

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for an Automotive Fuel Economy / Emissions Certification Engineer – Vehicle Homologation & Compliance for their Allen Park, MI location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project work plans including status updates.
• Coordinate with activities regarding prototype vehicle and part requirements and availability.
• Support communication and confirmation of vehicle instrumentation requirements.
• Coordinate with proving ground to execute vehicle mileage break-in.
• Perform fuel economy testing:
• Test request generation
• Data analysis
• Coordinating vehicle updates, reflashes and/or troubleshooting as required.
• Cross-functional meeting support as required
• Coordinate catalyst bench aging
• Compile and submit test and supporting documentation to EPA as needed or required.
• Support any EPA confirmatory testing.
• Perform emission certification testing:
• Coordinating vehicle updates, reflashes and/or troubleshooting as required.
• Coordinate catalyst bench aging
• Coordinating Witness Testing
• Compile and submit running change and/or application documentation to EPA/CARB/Witnesses.
• Support any EPA confirmatory testing.

 
Requirements:

• BS in Engineering or related field
• Fuel Economy homologation and compliance experience.
• Years of Experience: 3.00 Years of Experience
