Job Details

Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts
Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences
Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial proceedings
Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy, developments, and outcomes
Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to deliver exceptional client service
Analyze risks, evaluate exposure, and formulate litigation recommendations
Maintain compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements


Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active license and good standing with the state bar
3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience handling depositions, hearings, and motion practice
Trial experience is a plus
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service
