Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Florida and have at least 1 year of civil defense litigation experience. This is an on-site position in Orlando.

Job Description

• Manage civil defense litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written arguments.
• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and settlement conferences.
• Participate in trials and appellate matters.
• Analyze discovery, medical records, and case documentation to evaluate liability and exposure.
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Provide timely case strategy updates and litigation reports.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to deliver outstanding client service.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license required.
• 1+ years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Experience managing litigation matters preferred.
• Trial preparation experience is a plus.
• Experience with case management software preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Dedicated to outstanding client service and professional growth.
