Location: This is a hybrid position based in Chicago, Illinois, with work from home flexibility and access to offices in central Chicago.

Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Illinois and have direct personal injury litigation experience. Plaintiff-side personal injury experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

  • Manage personal injury and wrongful death cases through all phases of litigation.
  • Handle case investigation, pleadings, written discovery, oral discovery, depositions, legal research, and legal writing.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys while developing greater independence and trial-ready litigation skills.
  • Advocate for clients in matters involving motor vehicle crashes, bicycle crashes, nursing home negligence, abuse, and other serious injury claims.
  • Prepare cases strategically with a focus on strong client service, accountability, and successful outcomes.
  • Participate in CLE programs, trial lawyer association opportunities, and professional development designed to support long-term growth.
  • Collaborate with a team that values trust, responsibility, preparation, and dedication to clients.

Qualifications

  • Illinois law license required.
  • 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience preferred.
  • Direct experience handling pleadings, discovery, depositions, legal research, and legal writing.
  • Plaintiff-side personal injury or wrongful death litigation experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage assignments and caseload responsibilities with appropriate supervision.
  • Trial practice experience or a strong interest in becoming a skilled trial attorney.
  • Commitment to representing injured clients and making a meaningful impact through advocacy.
