Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Associate Program Director of Endocrinology, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Omaha Nebraska at CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine. This role offers a unique blend of direct patient care, impactful resident and fellow mentorship, and critical administrative leadership in a vibrant academic environment that fosters excellence.

Everyday you will have a dynamic blend of teaching, leadership, and clinical practice, all central to shaping the next generation of specialists. You will dedicate time to bedside teaching and supervision of medical students, internal medicine residents and fellows, providing crucial feedback on their cases. You'll also actively contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of the entire endocrinology fellowship curriculum, encompassing didactic sessions, conferences, and clinical rotations, while assisting in identifying and assigning research projects to foster fellows' scholarly activity. This intense educational involvement is seamlessly integrated with your administrative duties, from reviewing fellowship applications and ensuring rigorous ACGME compliance, to collaborating closely with the Program Director on strategic planning. Throughout all this, you will maintain your own productive clinical practice, performing a great mix of outpatient general endocrinology and vital inpatient consults.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified Endocrinologist building a program that thrives, leaving a profound impact on its trainees and the field itself. Your efficacy shines through fellows who not only excel clinically and academically but are reflected in robust board pass rates and remarkable career trajectories but also feel genuinely supported and mentored throughout their journey.
