About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel for Sales and Commercial Transactions to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key legal advisor on a variety of sales and client management matters, with a focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts. This role requires a strategic and pragmatic thinker with superior legal drafting skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. The Associate General Counsel will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, including those related to health insurers, ERISA, and HIPAA privacy and security.Applicants must have a J.D. degree, be admitted to practice, and have at least 5 years of legal experience, with a strong background in commercial and technology transactions, preferably in a healthcare technology setting. In-house experience is preferred. The role demands a candidate with a growth mindset, excellent critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, as well as a high degree of professional ethics and integrity. Proficiency in the use of Artificial Intelligence to streamline legal operations is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, accountable individual with a proven track record of meeting aggressive time frames and the ability to create legal strategies.
