    Job Summary: The Associate Director of Operations for the UM Department provides strategic, operational, and administrative leadership to ensure the smooth functioning and continued growth of the UM, CDI, and the Program of Hospital Medicine across both campuses of SUNY Upstate Medical University. This individual oversees all administrative, financial, and human resource functions within the program, working closely with the UM director and other institutional leaders to advance the programs mission of clinical excellence, education, and innovation.

    Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in an administrative/ supervisory capacity. Strong organizational and project management skills. Demonstrated financial management and budgeting proficiency. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities. Proficiency in MS Office, data analysis, and institutional HR/finance systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex academic healthcare environment.

    Preferred Qualifications: Masters of Business Administration or Related.

    Work Days: Monday-Friday, Days, some nights evenings & weekends
