This is an onsite role.
The Associate Director of Marketing works directly with the Director of Sales & Marketing to collaborate with the resort department heads and team members to manage all the resort marketing programs, strategies, budget, and agencies. Work closely with the Director of Revenue Management to increase revenue streams associated with the resort and outlets to include restaurants, spas, the spa, meetings, events and weddings with a commercial strategy mindset. The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Associate Director of Marketing to assist on marketing initiatives with being mentored in their role.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in marketing, business and/or communications preferred.
Five years of marketing work experience; preferably in hospitality.
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience required.
Proficient knowledge of print and digital production.
Proficient knowledge of social media marketing.
Proficient knowledge of digital marketing including SEO, paid advertising, and AI optimization for Large Language Models (LLMs).
Understanding fundamentals of marketing to leisure guests, meeting planners, and weddings.
Commercial Strategy - understanding numbers, ROI and reporting. Strong analytical skills.
High degree of organization, attention to details and level of professional conduct. Self-starter, comfortable in communicating across disciplines, owners, and agencies.
Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Continue to learn and stay on top of trends in digital marketing, PR, social media, AI, and hospitality.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of Canva.
Creative and graphic skills, desirable.
