We are seeking an experienced pharmaceutical HCP marketer to provide immediate support for a launch-stage rare disease brand (in liver diseases) while we complete search and recruitment of a permanent Director, HCP Marketing.

This individual will serve as a hands-on marketing lead responsible for driving critical launch deliverables through AASLD and the planned branded campaign launch in mid-November. The role requires a highly execution-oriented marketer who can quickly integrate with the team and independently manage a high volume of cross-functional workstreams.

Top priority: We are not looking for a strategist or consultant. We need a hands-on pharmaceutical HCP marketer who has personally led agencies, managed MLR/LMRC reviews, and executed launch campaigns under compressed timelines. The individual must be able to start immediately and operate with minimal onboarding.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead day-to-day HCP marketing execution during a critical launch period.
    • Partner with agency teams to drive development and execution of HCP promotional materials, launch campaigns, and customer engagement tactics.
    • Shepherd marketing materials through Legal, Medical, Regulatory, and Compliance (LMRC) review processes and ensure timelines remain on track.
    • Coordinate closely with digital, media, print, and production vendors to ensure seamless execution across channels.
    • Lead regular review meetings with agency partners and provide clear direction on priorities, revisions, and launch readiness plans and co-manage LMRC template and timelines for launch tactics.
    • Coordinate seamlessly with marketing colleagues on congress-related activities and commercial execution of campaign surrounding AASLD.
    • Partner across Marketing, Sales, Sales Training, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Regulatory, and Compliance to align stakeholders and remove executional barriers.
    • Serve as sales training liaison from marketing on core launch deliverables.
    • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining aggressive launch timelines.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 6+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech US marketing experience.
    • Strong US HCP marketing experience required.
    • US launch experience strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience leading agency partners and complex promotional material review processes.
    • Strong understanding of MLR/LMRC review and promotional compliance requirements.
    • Experience in specialty, rare disease, hepatology, GI, or other highly specialized therapeutic areas preferred.
    • Ability to operate independently and bring structure, urgency, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
