Note, this position is a limited‑term contract with an initial 1½ year period and optional 1-year extension.Duties And ResponsibilitiesConducts legal research on assigned points of procedural and substantive law.Prepares preliminary drafts or briefs, arguments, contracts, affidavits, and various legal documents as directed; maintains related document files and legal correspondence.Conducts studies, interview witnesses, and prepare witnesses to testify.When accepted as a member of the California Bar, represent the Company before courts, commissioners, boards, hearing officers, and public agencies under the guidance and supervision of an experienced attorney.Uses computerized databases in the execution of legal research assignments.Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).#J-18808-Ljbffr
