    Our client a rapidly growing regional Creditors Rights law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to oversee legal matters from inception through post-judgment remedies. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality legal representation, treat all clients with fairness and respect, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

    Location: This is primarily a remote position based in the Fairfax County, Northern Virginia area, with occasional in-person requirements for court appearances and on-site meetings.

    Locations include:

    • Alexandria, VA, US
    • Arlington, VA, US
    • Fairfax, VA, US
    • Falls Church, VA, US
    • Manassas, VA, US

    Compensation:$85,000 - $95,000 USD Annually

    Bonus: A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 for qualified candidates

    Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrates exceptional legal research, writing and oral communication skills.
    • Handles high volume caseload and provides expert analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks.
    • Negotiates with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases.
    • Willing to travel to various courts within the state of Virginia, if needed, as legal representation in various legal proceeds and to attend court hearings.
    • Works with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.

    Requirements:

    • 0-3 years experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation, attending court proceedings and associated regulations.
    • J.D. from an accredited law school with an Active license to practice law in VA. A license to practice law in other states in our footprint (GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, OH) or UBE passage is a plus but not mandatory.
    • Skilled in the ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
    • Outstanding Time Management skills
