We are currently seeking a dynamic, driven, and experienced Associate Attorney with a focus on Municipal/Public Entity Law to join our esteemed legal team. The successful candidate will primarily handle a variety of legal matters related to municipal law, government law, school districts, land use, zoning, code enforcement, and public entity. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney-Municipal/Public Entity Law, you will:
1. Provide legal counsel to municipalities, school districts, and other public entities on a variety of matters including land use, zoning, code enforcement, and policy development.
2. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials related to municipal and public entity law.
3. Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, ordinances, resolutions, and other legal documents.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues related to municipal and public entity law.
5. Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential liabilities.
6. Provide training and guidance to clients on legal matters related to municipal and public entity law.
7. Work collaboratively with team members to develop strategies and solutions for complex legal issues.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting municipal and public entity law.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Associate Attorney-Municipal/Public Entity Law position, you must possess the following:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in municipal law, government law, school districts, land use, zoning, code enforcement, and public entity.
4. Proven experience representing clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials.
5. Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices related to municipal and public entity law.
6. Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
9. Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
