Overview Seeking a motivated Complex Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with 2–7 years of litigation experience to join its Albuquerque office. This role offers immediate responsibility, direct client interaction, deposition and courtroom experience, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated plaintiff and defense litigation matters. The firm is looking for attorneys who are intellectually curious, self-driven, and committed to becoming exceptional litigators.Responsibilities Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.Take and defend depositions.Prepare witnesses and clients for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial.Appear in court for hearings, motions, mediations, and trials.Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal advice.Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on complex legal matters.Negotiate settlements when appropriate.Maintain accurate case files and comply with court deadlines.Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in New Mexico, or ability to obtain admission promptly.2–7 years of civil litigation experience.Experience drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, and legal briefs.Deposition experience preferred.Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.Excellent communication and client relationship skills.Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously.Trial preparation experience is preferred.Additional state bar admissions are a plus.Comfortable using modern legal technology and AI-assisted legal research tools.Required Skills Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.Excellent communication and client relationship skills.Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously.Preferred Skills Deposition experience preferred.Trial preparation experience is preferred.Additional state bar admissions are a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
