Position Overview
Seeking an Associate Attorney to support a busy litigation practice focused on toxic tort, product liability, and general liability matters. This role offers the opportunity to independently manage cases while collaborating with experienced attorneys on complex litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
Conduct and defend depositions, including expert witnesses
Prepare witnesses for depositions and trial
Draft and respond to discovery, motions, and pleadings
Handle court filings (including e-filing) and related procedural requirements
Support trial preparation and case strategy
Maintain accurate time records
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in general liability, product liability, or related litigation
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active California Bar admission required
Deposition and motion practice experience (including taking lead on depositions)
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
