The Assistive Technology Specialist is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services. Positions are statewide, in various locations throughout Alabama. Employees in this class analyze the technology needs of individuals with disabilities and help clients select and use adaptive devices so that barriers are minimized or removed.
