The role involves immigration enforcement matters, warrants, habeas corpus, injunctions, asylum, passport, and general civil litigation.ResponsibilitiesRepresent the United States in civil litigation matters.Handle immigration enforcement, warrant issuance, habeas corpus, injunctions, asylum and passport cases.Prepare and file pleadings, legal research, and arguments.Appear in court, conduct discovery, and manage cross‑examination.Assist in complex civil cases as experience develops.Required QualificationsJ.D. Degree.Active membership in any U.S. bar.At least 1 year of post‑J.D. legal experience.U.S. citizenship.Preferred QualificationsStrong academic credentials.Superior legal research and writing skills.Quick analytical ability to articulate case‑related issues.High‑volume courtroom experience, including first‑chair jury trials.Excellent organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.Team‑oriented, professional conduct and commitment to ethics.Computer proficiency and self‑sufficiency in research and drafting.BenefitsSalary range: $85,270.00 – $195,100.00.
