With a strong presence throughout the Carolinas and over 50 years of industry excellence, they have built a reputation for quality, innovation, and outstanding project delivery.As an Assistant Superintendent in Charleston, you'll play a critical role in ensuring successful project delivery by supporting project leadership and driving key project objectives.Assist the Superintendent in overseeing all aspects of the construction project from start to finish.Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work.Monitor project schedules and assist in the development of short-term and long-term schedules.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to specifications and quality standards.Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on site.Assist in the management of project budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Communicate effectively with project team members, subcontractors, and clients to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.Support the Superintendent in resolving any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff members and field personnel.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
