Salary/Hourly Rate: $25/hr - $27/hr
Position Overview: The Assistant Site Merchandiser will support the Site Merchandising Manager in optimizing and managing the company's online presence across its website and Amazon. This is a hands-on, support-focused role involving product presentation, image editing, styling recommendations, product listing management, and website content updates. The ideal candidate will have a strong visual eye, creative mindset, strong attention to detail, and an interest in apparel, e-commerce, and digital merchandising.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Site Merchandiser:- Assist the Site Merchandising Manager with maintaining and optimizing the company website to ensure products are accurately presented, organized, and easy for customers to shop.
- Edit, crop, resize, and enhance product images to ensure a polished and consistent visual presentation across digital platforms.
- Provide styling recommendations and creative input for product photography and photoshoots.
- Build, update, and manage product listings across the website and Amazon, ensuring product information, imagery, descriptions, and categorization are accurate and consistent.
- Support product launches and ensure new products are properly set up and merchandised online.
- Monitor product performance and assist with analyzing sales and site metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Merchandising and E-commerce teams to implement data-driven changes to product presentation and site merchandising.
- Assist with promotional strategies, campaigns, and product updates to support sales and improve the customer experience.
- Organize and maintain website content to ensure a seamless, visually appealing, and user-friendly shopping experience.
- Perform regular site audits to identify product, imagery, content, or merchandising inconsistencies and make necessary updates.
- Support additional e-commerce and merchandising projects as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Assistant Site Merchandiser:- 1+ years of experience in site merchandising, e-commerce, digital merchandising, or a related field.
- Strong visual eye with an understanding of product presentation, web merchandising, and styling.
- Strong interest in apparel, fashion, accessories, and/or e-commerce.
- Experience editing and preparing product imagery for digital platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing product information and online listings.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Assistant Site Merchandiser:- Experience working with Amazon Seller Central or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with website content management systems or e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop or similar photo-editing software.
- Previous experience within apparel, fashion, accessories, or retail e-commerce.
- Familiarity with e-commerce analytics, product performance reporting, and digital merchandising best practices.
- Knowledge of styling and fashion photography.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, E-Commerce, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
