Assistant Maintenance Technician

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building systems
• Assist with diagnosis and resolution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Respond to service requests and participate in rotational on-call emergency coverage
• Maintain accurate maintenance, safety, and compliance records
• Follow established safety procedures and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed

Education & Training

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Vocational training, apprenticeship, or technical education in maintenance or a related field preferred
• Relevant technical certifications preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Working knowledge of facilities and building systems maintenance, or other applicable experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Attention to detail, safety awareness, and reliability
• Effective communication and time-management skills
