The Assistant Jr. High Girls Wrestling Coach supports the district's athletic program for the 2025-2026 school year, reporting to the High School Activities Director.
Responsibilities include implementing policies from the Student Activities Program Procedures Guide, completing MSHSAA rules meetings, assisting the head coach, attending staff meetings, and performing assigned duties such as drills, equipment management, eligibility checks, and public relations.
In the absence of the head coach, the assistant assumes all responsibilities.
Qualifications include Missouri Teacher Certification, preferred coaching experience, support for the district's improvement plan, and passing background checks. The role requires physical endurance, ability to handle stressful conditions, and flexibility for long, irregular hours and travel.
Evaluated by the High School Athletic Director; contract is seasonal. Responsibilities may vary at the discretion of administration.
