We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Instructor in Ophthalmology. The successful candidate will work closely with full-time faculty members to assist in clinical activities, participate in research projects, and contribute to teaching initiatives within the department as part of their Fellowship with the Department of Ophthalmology. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals who have completed post-doctoral training in Ophthalmology and are committed to advancing their career in subspecialty training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist full-time faculty members in clinical activities related to subspecialty training in Ophthalmology.
  • Contribute to ongoing clinical and basic research projects within the department.
  • Provide teaching and support to residents and medical students, with a focus on general ophthalmology principles.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, and educational activities as required.

Qualification

  • MD Degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of post-doctoral training in Ophthalmology.
  • Strong interest and commitment to subspecialty training in Ophthalmology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
