Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team and assist in the day-to-day operations of our business. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing a team of employees, overseeing the reviews of the hotel, and developing and implementing strategies for growth and success. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing business needs. The assistant general manager will assist General Manager in many administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of employees, including setting performance expectations, providing training and development, and managing employee relations
Oversee performance of the hotel, including setting goals and monitoring results, responding to reviews daily
- Willing to work all shifts if necessary.
Onboarding new associates, interviewing possible new hires.
Ensuring hotel is meeting Brand Metric on all categories.
Communicate effectively with other team members and management
Other duties as assigned, daily uploads and reconciliation of daily audits, training new associates.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role with IHG
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to changing business needs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong financial management skills
