We are a rapidly growing restaurant looking for Assistant General Managers to enhance our company.  The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in supervising guest experiences and other key restaurant operation activities. The Assistant General Manager will uphold the company's vision and culture.
We're looking for creative, motivated people with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be organized, have basic serving skills, communicative, high energy and have a positive attitude. Must be a leader who is committed to mentoring and advising the management team and staff to ensure the successful execution of the restaurant. 
The Assistant General Manager works in accordance with the Company's established policies and standards and in support of the General Manager. Primary duties include shift supervision focused on providing excellent guest service and giving direction to team members ensuring productivity, quality product, safety, and health department compliance. The position contributes to the success of the restaurant by reaching/exceeding sales targets and working towards company goals.
Requirements:
  • Maintains a positive workplace environment by personally demonstrating the Vision and Culture of the organization for both the guests and team members. Provides guidance to others to ensure professional workplace interactions.
  • Must be mentally alert, detailed oriented with good reasoning skills
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English in a clear understandable voice
  • Provides training and coaching for team members while modeling our Culture and company standards
  • Knowledge of service standards and demonstrates the ability to contribute to multiple jobs within the restaurant and pro-actively step in as needed to ensure needs of the 
guests are met.
 
 
 


Responsibilities:
  • Assist in tracking and analyze financial metrics of the location to ensure they are meeting set standards and achieving overall profitability goals.
  • Assist in reviewing data such as daily sales, labor, shift notes, and other financial data.
  • Assist in recruiting, rewarding, and retaining top team members and cultivate management potential.
  • Ensure Company Policy and Procedures are understood and followed through.
  • Completes opening and/or closing duties. Conducts daily checklist and uses appropriate planner on each shift.
  • Operate within the Company values and guidelines.
    1. Staff training
    2. Opening, running, and closing checklists
    3. Repair and Maintenance of Equipment including tanks
  • Build the company image with guests, community organizations, and employees; and enforcing ethical business practices.
