As an Assistant General Manager at Jimmy Johns, youll oversee all aspects of in-store operations, including but not limited to staffing/scheduling, food safety, inventory/stock ordering, COGS management, cash handling and brand compliance. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant General Managers must be self-motivated individuals who have superior leadership skills and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. Prior experience as an Assistant or General Manager in food service is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and feedback during shifts
• Schedule employee shifts and assign duties
• Train and coach new employees
• Assist in recruiting and hiring
• Manage inventory and vendor orders
• Review P&L statements
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Address customer and employee concerns

Skills:

• Ability to work 50+ hours per week
• Prior experience in food service management
• Proficient in operating commercial slicers
• Capable of lifting 30-40 lbs. regularly
• Basic computer skills
• Completion of Jimmy John Manager Certification Training
• ServSafe Certified
