The Assistant General Counsel will review and negotiate lease agreements, easements, and permits, handle title issues, and coordinate with stakeholders and agencies.
Key responsibilities include managing legal due diligence, external counsel, project timelines, and risk mitigation, as well as mentoring junior staff.
Requirements include a J.D., U.S. bar admission, 6+ years’ energy project experience, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
This office-based role in Chicago or Austin involves some travel.
Salary range is $190,000-$225,000, with comprehensive benefits.
