Assistant Field Manager

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience: 4-year college degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or related discipline (or a satisfactory combination of relevant military training and/or experience in construction-related fields). Responsibilities:

 

• Assists Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and reporting responsibilities, as assigned
• Reviews and interprets shop drawings
• Reviews submittals and expedites materials
• Monitors production rates and schedules
• Supervises subcontractors and monitors work performance, progress, and productivity
• Supports and/or supervises work crews from excavation through punch list
• Follows company policies and procedures and assists with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement
• Assists with reporting obligations
