We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Project Manager in Tucson, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of mechanical construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical systems, construction methodologies, and project management principles. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of mechanical construction projects, including planning, design, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Build and maintain productive partnerships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of management to ensure clear understanding of project goals and objectives.
- Price, negotiate, document, and process change conditions and change orders.
- Develop billing schedules of values; manage progress billings, retention, receivables, and collection activity in accordance with due dates.
- Partner with field supervision to build cohesive project teams, plan labor resources, monitor productivity, and keep teams focused on safe, timely execution.
- Lead day-to-day operations for assigned projects and supervise Project Coordinators, Project Engineers, and Assistant Project Managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or at least 10 years of progressive construction experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, specifically in mechanical projects.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, mechanical systems, and project management principles.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of financial management principles and ability to manage project finances effectively.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
