Job Summary
The Assistant Equipment Logistics Coordinator supports the efficient flow of tools, supplies, equipment, and materials within the warehouse. This position is responsible for ordering, tracking, and managing the movement of goods between the warehouse, job sites, and vendors while maintaining accurate inventory levels of safety supplies, consumables, and other frequently used items.
Job Description
- Performs regular stock checks, identifies low-stock items, and initiates re-ordering processes
- Orders tools and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company purchasing policies
- Schedules and coordinates trucking and freight services for transporting tools, vehicles, equipment, and trailers to and from job sites and the warehouse
- Obtains quotes, selects carriers, and tracks shipments
- Maintains a detailed order log, tracking the status of all orders and proactively following up on delays or discrepancies
- Creates and processes accurate pick tickets for warehouse personnel, ensuring the correct items are picked and shipped
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all inventories, orders, shipments, and related logistics information
- Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring the safe handling and transportation of all materials
- Assists with other logistics tasks, including inventory audits and coordinating returns
- Performs other duties as assigned

Skills Required
- 1 year of experience in a logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environment required

Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug screen & criminal background check
- Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Typical schedule is 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Some flexibility in start and end times based on departmental needs
