Asset Manager - EquitiesReporting to a Senior Portfolio Manager or Chief Investment Officer, the Asset Manager - Equities will play a key role in managing equity investments and supporting the ongoing growth of the investment platform. Responsibilities include:Manage and monitor discretionary equity portfolios across a range of sectors and market capitalisations.Conduct fundamental investment research, financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on listed companies.Develop investment recommendations and present findings to investment committees and senior stakeholders.Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and asset allocation positioning.Engage with company management teams, brokers, research providers, and industry participants to identify investment opportunities.Prepare client reporting materials, market commentary, and portfolio reviews.Support business development initiatives by participating in client meetings and assisting with investment presentations.For the Asset Manager - Equities we are seeking:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience in equity research, portfolio management, asset management, or investment analysis.Progress towards, or completion of, the Chartered Financial Analyst designation preferred.Strong knowledge of public equity markets, portfolio construction, and investment risk management.Advanced analytical and financial modelling capabilities.Experience using investment research tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, Capital IQ, or similar platforms.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate investment views clearly to clients and stakeholders.A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a strong commercial mindset and passion for investing.What's on offer:Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus structure.Opportunity to work with a well-established and growing investment management business.Direct exposure to senior investment professionals and investment committee decision-making.Collaborative and entrepreneurial culture focused on long-term client outcomes.Career progression opportunities within portfolio management and investment leadership.Comprehensive benefits package including retirement, healthcare, and professional development support.Flexible and hybrid working arrangements where applicable.
