Assembly Technician

Overview

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly, calibration, and packaging of production items at our San Jose, CA Headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical assembly on production items.
• Assists in material and packaging processing.
• Assists in the calibration of all Mountz products.
• Conducts all tasks/responsibilities keeping always in mind the Manufacturing Department objectives and the continual improvement of Mountz''s Quality Management System.
• Supports and participates in the company''s health and safety program.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed.

• Complex Mechanical Assembly
• Simple Electronic Assembly:

RoHS-Compliant Assembly Experience

Handling and/or Inspection of PCBAs

Through-hole Hand Soldering

Hand-Soldering Wires Experience

Cutting, Stripping, & Crimping Wires

• Pre-set hand-tool calibration
• Hand-tool QC
• Firmware Download into PCB

Prerequisites:

• J-STD-001 Familiarity and/or Certification
• IPC-A-610 Familiarity and/or Certification
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 Familiarity and/or Certification
