    Description

    Diversified Personnel Services (DPS) is seeking Assembly Technicians for a well-established, growing manufacturer in the Oconomowoc area. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and building quality equipment in a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment. 
    Whether you have previous assembly experience or a strong mechanical background from automotive, maintenance, farming, powersports, or industrial equipment, we'd love to hear from you.     What You'll Do
    • Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments.
    • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation to complete assemblies accurately.
    • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and proper operation.
    • Stage materials and components for production.
    • Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and communicate concerns when needed.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
    • Participate in quality improvement and team problem-solving initiatives.
    • Assist with additional production or assembly-related projects as assigned.
    What We're Looking For
    • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with your hands.
    • Previous manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
    • Experience with automotive, diesel, industrial equipment, maintenance, agricultural equipment, or similar mechanical work is a plus.
    • Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical documentation.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • High school diploma or GED required.
