Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: San Jose, CA 95134 (onsite)

Duration: 04 Months Contract (Possible extension)

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Shift: 8:00am to 5pm M - F (flexible)

Job Description:

We are searching for a mechanical or electrical technician to perform a wide variety of assembling, testing, and packaging tasks. The candidate will be responsible for completing tasks that enable our team to deliver these solutions to our customers in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Building electrical assemblies, PM kits, sub level assembly, etc.
• Performs component assembly, solders components, connectors and mechanical assemblies.
• Assembling and testing complex components and devices consisting of numerous mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform in-process inspections.
• Assembling kits using required packaging materials
• Working with engineers for new product implementation
• Assisting with packaging/skidding items for shipment to customer sites
• Assembly the skins of the device before crating process.
• Crate device for shipping process.
• Other tasks that are assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have: High School Degree or equivalent. Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of experience (flexible) assembling electromechanical devices and/or electrical components
• Experience in Manufacturing is required, especially in an ESD environments
