Join SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued! We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to support manufacturing and industrial operations in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical assembly, industrial equipment, troubleshooting, and reading technical documents. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment. 
Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical assembly, maintenance, and testing of industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Assist with hydraulic systems, pressure testing, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Candidates must have experience with tube bending
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes when needed.
• Safely lift, move, and position materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.
• Participate in occasional travel or offshore activities as required.
•  Prior experience with Doggett / CAT equipment strongly preferred

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, mechanical maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulic systems, pressure testing, or industrial equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in industrial environments with moving equipment and machinery.

Shifts:

• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM | Overtime and weekends as needed
