Position Summary
Aeon is seeking a strong, experienced property management leader to serve as Area Manager for three of our permanent supportive housing communities: Exodus, Alliance, and OHP (The Lamoreaux, The Lamoreaux Expansion, The Continental, and The Coyle).
This is a unique opportunity to take a hands-on role in opening and managing Exodus, a new 72-home supportive housing community in downtown Minneapolis, while also leading and developing the Property Managers at Alliance and OHP. We're looking for someone who can step in with confidence, build strong teams, set clear expectations, and bring the leadership and operational skills needed to help all three communities succeed.
Approximately 80% of this position will focus on the daily management of Exodus, including financial performance, affordable housing compliance, property condition, resident experience, and team leadership. The remaining 20% will focus on directly supervising, coaching, and supporting the Property Managers at Alliance and OHP, helping them solve problems, strengthen operations, and achieve results.
Success in this role also means building strong relationships with residents, supportive service providers, and community partners. The Area Manager will play an important role in fostering safe, stable, and welcoming communities that support residents' long-term housing stability.
The Area Manager reports directly to the Portfolio Director.

This is a full-time, in-person position following a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:30am-5pm, with flexibility to meet the needs of the properties, residents, and teams.
Prior to the opening of Exodus, the Area Manager will be based at Mary Hall, Aeon's recently opened supportive housing community in downtown St. Paul, while preparing for the opening of Exodus. Once Exodus opens, the position will be based primarily onsite at Exodus in downtown Minneapolis, with approximately 80% of the role dedicated to Exodus and 20% to Alliance and OHP. Regular visits to Alliance and OHP are required, along with occasional travel to Aeon's Central Office, training facilities, or other properties as needed.
