Introduction

We are looking for a dynamic professional to join our team, applying advanced machine learning and natural language processing techniques to develop predictive analytics and document intelligence solutions for wealth management, private banking, client advisory, compliance, or supervision use cases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced graduate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related technical field.
  • Strong background in machine learning, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, statistics, or probability at the graduate school level or higher.
  • Experience creating predictive analytics with noisy data, and a background in text analytics, news aggregation, and natural language processing.
  • 1-2 years of experience in quantitative research and financial engineering, data science, or risk analytics in the securities industry.
  • Experience with data prototyping and coding using tools like Python/R, Plotly, Shiny, Presto, Tensorflow, Keras, and PyTorch.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced statistical methods, Bayesian learning techniques, pattern recognition, and outlier detection algorithms.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for the company on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficient communication skills and experience writing model documentation.
  • Knowledge of financial engineering for forecasting, valuation, instrument and strategy selection, portfolio construction, and risk management.
  • Experience with a wide range of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, currencies, futures, commodities, and derivatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop production-grade machine learning and AI systems using Python, SQL, and distributed data processing.
  • Evaluate machine learning and AI solutions through quantitative validation and performance monitoring.
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and model workflows for processing large datasets.
  • Prepare model methodology, technical design, performance evaluation, and governance documentation.
