Application Programmer III

Title: Python Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ within 50 miles  - Hybrid (3 days on site mandatory in a week)
Pay Range: $60-$65/Hr.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 from Day 1

Required Qualifications:

• 6–10 years of overall technology/software development experience.
• 6–10 years of experience designing and developing software in an object-oriented programming environment.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong experience with at least one additional object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or C#; experience across multiple programming languages is preferred.
• 6–10 years of experience designing, developing, and tuning SQL databases, tables, and queries.
• Strong experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle/Exadata.
• Experience working with high-volume data environments and grid computing.
• Experience developing RESTful web services/APIs.
• Experience with Angular, preferably Angular 15.x or later.
• Experience with Git and npm is a plus.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD), functional testing, and continuous integration (CI) is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with NoSQL data stores and data replication/migration to Oracle Exadata.
• Strong C++/Java and Python development background.
• Experience developing applications for Global Markets, banking, finance, middle-office, or back-office environments.
• Experience with financial-market data, valuation, pricing, risk, or control applications.
• Experience working directly with senior business and technology stakeholders.
