Application Engineer

LNS North America is seeking an experienced engineer to support the Application Engineering for Steady Rest Department by providing technical expertise in the company's work holding system product line. Conveys key customer and machine information to the engineering group to ensure accurate designs.

Essential Duties Include:

• Performs technical analysis of steady rest systems by viewing applications and recommending solutions for the US market.
• Builds and maintains customers relationships.
• Attending trade shows as appropriate to promote the business.
• Collects information such as measurements, layouts, and performance expectations to meet customer needs.
• Participates in new product installations working closely with Product Manager
• Follow up with first installation of special applications and makes necessary corrections to the application
