Description

Our Client, an American Multinational Clothing and Accessories Retailer, is looking for an Apparel Designer for their New York, NY location.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating original concepts that encompass style, color and fabric as a result of interpreting fashion trends.
  • Produces sketches and may make seasonal presentations of proposed designs.
  • Analyzes fashion trends.
  • Partners with sourcing and materials development.
  • May provide basic fit and body block information and attend fit sessions.
 
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, strong sketching ability, and the technical expertise to independently lead fittings and develop tech packs.
  • Design experience in fleece, knits, sport, and swimwear.
  • Portfolio is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience.
  • Related design experience.
