Job Title: AnyLogic Java Engineer

Overall experience of 4+ years in software development, simulation, modeling, or a related field.
Minimum 1.5+ years of hands-on experience with AnyLogic.
Strong practical experience building and developing simulation models—not just theoretical knowledge.
Hands-on experience with AnyLogic simulation software.
Strong understanding of:
Agent-Based Modeling
Discrete Event Simulation
System Dynamics
Comfortable writing and customizing Java code within AnyLogic.
Ability to translate complex business problems and operational requirements into simulation models.
Experience working with real-world data for model validation and analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Design and develop complex simulation models using AnyLogic.
Build models utilizing Agent-Based, Discrete Event, and System Dynamics methodologies.
Develop simulations representing real-world business processes, supply chains, logistics networks, and operational workflows.
Translate business requirements into scalable and accurate simulation models.
Validate and verify simulation models using real-world data and business scenarios.
Optimize existing models to improve performance, scalability, and accuracy.
Customize and enhance models using Java programming within AnyLogic.
Analyze simulation results and translate findings into actionable business insights.
Conduct what-if scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Evaluate different operational strategies and provide data-driven recommendations.
Present simulation findings and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to understand modeling requirements.
Participate in requirement gathering and model design discussions.
Communicate complex simulation concepts and results clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a hands-on AnyLogic Engineer/Developer who has actual experience building simulation models from scratch. The ideal candidate should be comfortable combining AnyLogic modeling capabilities with Java programming and should be able to independently translate a real-world business challenge into a functional simulation model.
