Piper Companies is currently seeking an Analytical Scientist in Miami, Florida (FL) to work for a leading pharmaceutical development and manufacturing company. The Scientist I/Senior Chemist will serve as a key contributor in ensuring product quality through routine analytical testing and method validation.
The Scientist I/Senior Chemist will support manufacturing by ensuring quality control of pharmaceutical products by performing advanced regulated testing.
Responsibilities for the Analytical Scientist include:
Execute analytical testing using established methods including HPLC, GC, and dissolution
Complete raw and finished material testing using various methodologies
Perform method validation and verification in accordance with cGMP and other global standards
Establish reliable data that supports the transfer and release of manufactured products
Required Qualifications for the Analytical Scientist include:
1+ required years of experience working in pharmaceuticals or analytical laboratory environment
Working knowledge of executing and documenting analytical test procedures to determine quality of a product
Familiarity working with HPLC or GC instruments (hands on experienced preferred)
Strong understanding of USP and familiarity with compendial testing
Ability to self-motivate and work independently
