CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IN GRANT-FUNDED POSITIONS IS CONTINGENT UPON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or business field is preferred. Three (3) years of experience in human resources and/or education is required. A background in wage and salary/compensation administration is preferred. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires knowledge and skill in the use of personal computers and their software, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and in other computerized applications. Incumbent must have excellent analytical skills along with strong oral and written communication skills. This position requires the ability to work on very detailed tasks and projects for long periods while maintaining a high degree of accuracy as well as managing time and resources effectively and efficiently. Judgment is required when interpreting and communicating wage and salary information. This position requires research and careful analysis of employee records as it relates to salary and stipend information. JOB PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITY: This position is responsible for facilitating functions within a specific human capital resource program area. The incumbent is also responsible for supporting schools and central office staff through the provision of specialized human capital services. This position will be responsible for the management and analysis of compensation data, overseeing activities, planning, and reporting. Incumbent receives administrative supervision. The supervisor may provide instruction regarding changes in policies, procedures, or laws or in reference to unusual circumstances or problems. Errors may result in non-compliance with laws and regulations and could lead to legal action against the District. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Work

    effectively

    with

    campus

    administrators

    and

    the

    District

    Athletic

    department

    to

    assure

    that

    stipend

    allocations

    are dispersed accurately and in a timely manner.

    Organize

    and

    maintain

    records

    as

    it

    pertains

    to

    data

    pulls,

    reports,

    and

    stipend

    information.

    Communicate

    effectively

    and

    professionally

    with

    administrators,

    staff

    and

    the

    Talent

    Strategy

    team.

    Respond

    to

    requests for information via phone and in writing.

    Monitor

    emails

    and

    communications

    received

    by

    the

    Compensation

    teams'

    communication

    system

    and

    provide

    answers to employees in an accurate and timely manner.

    Enter

    and

    update

    accurate

    position

    data

    to

    include

    stipend

    allowances,

    incentive

    pay,

    and

    salary

    changes

    • including maintenance of the department documentation log.

    Assist

    in

    the

    development

    and

    implementation

    of

    systems

    and

    processes

    to

    improve

    the

    efficiency

    and

    effectiveness

    of District payroll.

    May

    assist

    in

    research

    and

    provide

    data

    to

    support

    employees

    credit

    service

    as

    per

    TEA.

    Assist

    with

    preparing

    District

    salary

    schedules,

    pay

    documents

    and

    compensation

    tables.

    Work

    with

    the

    Recruitment

    and

    Staffing

    team

    to

    assure

    all

    participants

    have

    the

    proper

    tools

    and

    information

    regarding stipends/allowance, forms, sign-on-bonuses, salary schedules, and processes to onboard efficiently.

    May

    recommend

    salary

    placements

    for

    newly

    hired

    employees

    and

    employees

    who

    are

    promoted.

    Work

    together

    with

    the

    compensation

    team

    to

    develop

    short

    and

    long-term

    strategies

    to

    achieve

    team

    goals.

    Assist

    with

    research

    and

    collect

    data

    on

    a

    variety

    of

    salary

    information

    through

    contacting

    other

    school

    districts,

    TEA, government documents/reports, World Wide Web, AISD data files, and published surveys, etc.

    Analyze

    data

    and

    prepare

    reports,

    as

    necessary.

    Assist

    with

    district

    surveys

    as

    required.

    Communicate

    wage

    and

    salary

    information

    effectively

    and

    in

    a

    professional

    manner

    both

    verbally

    and

    in

    writing.

    Serve as a resource to staffing staff for questions related to pay within the Human Capital software.

    Support

    end-of-year

    roll

    process

    and

    salary/stipend

    updates

    with

    the

    supervisor

    of

    the

    department

    and

    the compensation manager.

    Assist

    with

    the

    management

    of

    complex

    information

    through

    the

    use

    of

    automation

    techniques

    (computer

    records

    and databases).

    Ensure

    compliance

    with

    local,

    state,

    and

    federal

    legal

    requirements

    related

    to

    compensation

    and

    wages. Build knowledge of State, Local, and Federal personnel laws, and regulations.

    May

    assist

    with

    function

    pay

    entries

    and

    approvals.

    Provide

    an

    exceptional

    customer

    experience

    for

    all

    AISD

    stakeholders

    with

    intentional

    and

    professional

    practices

    that promote a culture of respect. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED: Perform other related duties as assigned; however, all employees are expected to comply with lawful directives in rare situations driven by need where a team effort is required.
