Ambulatory Device Tech

Summary:

• Duration: 28-week assignment
• Monday-Friday 8a-4p (including 60-minute unpaid lunch break)

Responsibilities:

• Interrogate and program pacemakers and ICDs.
• Document and enter charges in EMR systems.
• Educate staff, patients, and families in electrophysiological monitoring.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Experience in pacemaker/ICD interrogation and programming.
• Computer literacy.
• Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in cardiac device technology, electrophysiology, cardiology, or MRI operations.
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and charge entry.
• Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology technology or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in cardiology/electrophysiology.
