Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours (00:00 - 08:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Client License with IV Certification Certifications: ARRT R, ARRT CT, BLS Must-Have: Experience operating Siemens equipment, proficiency in performing both CT scans and X-rays Description: An overnight CT Technologist is needed for an orthopedic imaging setting. The start date for this position is November 9, 2026. Candidates must have a Client license with IV certification. Experience operating Siemens equipment is required. Proficiency in performing both CT scans and X-rays is essential. Qualified candidates must be comfortable working night shifts. The position supports a low-volume, steady-paced environment. The work schedule is midnight to 8:30 AM with a 30-minute lunch break from Monday to Friday. For the first two weeks, the traveler will report for training on the day shift. Once training is complete, the traveler will return to the regular night schedule. The daily caseload is up to 20 patients, but this number may be lower due to low volume on the shift. The traveler will work independently during this shift. The patient age group includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Examinations involve orthopedic tests performed in exam rooms or via portable equipment. Candidates may rotate across multiple departments as needed. Skills in handling extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal procedures are required. Experience in abdominal, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal CT procedures is necessary. It is important to have the ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment weighing over 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices. A background in ambulatory, inpatient, emergency, and adult ICU settings is beneficial. Epic charting system experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to manage a diverse patient population, including adults, pediatrics, inpatients, and outpatients.
